To be honest this journey didn't start out with Frank.
Our girl, Phoebe, was the start of our love for Goldens. Everyone who met her fell in love with Phoebe. They would ask if we ever had a litter down the road to let them know. So we thought, what the hell, that sounds fun. We ended up trying 2 different studs. I guess we forgot to ask Phoebe her "type". The first, Phoebe thought he was too old. The next time around, she did not approve; no stud would do for our girl. Phoebe was keeping her bikini body and pups were not in her future, yet. Phoebe's best friends and mentors (our Boston Terriers) passed away within a year of each other. Our girl was an only fur baby now. Then, one Christmas under the tree, was a puppy named Frank.
Pretty soon, Frank had grown into a handsome guy. Phoebe and Frank welcomed two litters: first a litter of 10, and then a litter of 12 before Phoebe decided she was done with that chapter of her life. She is enjoying her chunkier, post-spayed body. We have never seen her happier. She was an amazing mama and now serves as an amazing doula and mentor to our next girl, Ruby Roo.
Roo is our beautiful new addition to the family. She is our new mama who recently welcomed her first litter of 12 with Frank. Roo is a dark red Golden. She is a little more petite than Phoebe, with a chill personality. She loves to send Frank to see who is at the door while she lays on the bed with her humans.
